Firstly we had a discussion about my current sources of income, how I am allocating my time, my passions, and my plans for the future. Fortunately I am already passionate about what I am doing, which made things a lot easier, but Annemaree got me very much in touch with this and anchored it for me. She also identified and recorded how much time I was spending in each of my areas of wealth creation, and the financial return they were giving me. This gave me a snapshot of where I was up to in terms of my ability to create value and then leverage it.
We then discussed my plans to move to the next level, and it turned out that although I pretty much had a feel for the direction I needed to move, I was not taking action on some of the key steps.
